Centaur Biomechanics Symmetry Marker Set

Centaur Biomechanics has designed a marker set which can be used to help evaluate horse-saddle-rider interaction. Markers positioned on the cantle, midline of the pelvis and top of the horse’s tail allow observers to instantly to identify straightness or asymmetry. Combined with our Visualise training jackets and Objectivity App provides a system in which the horse-saddle and rider can be objectively evaluated.

Available through Centaur Biomechanics, the Vert designed by one of the world’s most iconic researchers, Prof. Hilary Clayton, the Vert using visual feedback is a product designed to help riders evaluate their horses head angle in relation to the vertical. 

Meet Vert www.equ.la 

Vert is the world's first horse-head angle sensor and display. It attaches to the headpiece of your bridle at the poll and measures your horse's head angle in relation to the vertical, then displays the angle to you with a coloured light.

How Vert Works

Using a smartphone app (Only available on Apple), you can set the Vert to your horses head. As your horse flexes at the poll or rounds his neck, a precise digital sensor detects the angle of the head. Vert emits a light that changes colour according to the head angle.
